Daihyo Masanaga Nakamura

Born on August 8, 1984. As a son of Makoto Nakamura, Masanaga began participating in dojo activities in full swing after graduating from university, learning the basics of Karate instruction from his seniors. His talent as a Kyokushin fighter started to bloom in 2007 and soon earned him the 2010 All-Asia 75kg title. After winning several regional tournaments, Masanaga established his name in Kyokushin by placing first in the 2013 All-Japan Weight Category Middleweight Division. Then, he challenged himself to compete in a heavier division in 2015 and won the Light-Heavyweight Title. Masanaga followed in his father\'s footsteps and represented Japan at the 2015 World Championships.
